The Henry-based tie-in comics showed his kiddo self in normal clothes and even with a book in his hands, if I remember correctly. So him having been a complete feral child is, uh, a bit exaggerated if you ask me.

Yep. He knows how to be a human, obviously, his parents must've done that much for him. Having a strong affinity for animals =/= being one.

Not to mention, I wonder exactly WHERE the fan/s who stan for the "HENRY IS ACE" bullshit get their info about asexuality. Wherever it is, it's really damn WRONG - being ace, i.e., does NOT equal to being childish and ignorant to the extreme about sex as a whole.

i.e, I still remember the "Henry is asexual" fic that has Henry not even knowing how babies are made and went outta its way to show him as super naive and ignorant. Even taking the values dissonance coming from a world inspired by Middle Ages/Renaissance times, it's really damn hard to believe that a teenager who spent at very least two or three years in military barracks interacting with older soldiers before joining the Shepherds is THAT ignorant about sex. And I really, REALLY don't like the "childish and badly socialized = asexual" vibes that both the fic and the authors's comments practically OOZE, either.

TL;DR: The "Henry is ace" deal, as it's exposed/explained by its 'creators', is really damn dumb and potentially full of unfortunate impliations. EW.
