The future kids being treated by fandom as some poor little woobies who have had it ~harder than anyone in the world~... while the parents either are ignored, are bashed (specially Chrom, Tharja and the like), or have their own tragedies handwaves to fawn some more over the poor babby future kiddos, or are shamelessly fridged to fetishize the kids's ~suffering~ some more

COME THE FUCK ON, FANDOM. The future kids are stronger than you give them credit for. Yes, even Morgan and Noire and even freaking YARNE. Coming from the future to change the past that fucked it up takes an IMMENSE amount of strength, and the kids also face their own ghosts and evolve as persons while helping their dads and moms to fill their missions.

Fandom, really. Stop being creepy and simplifying these incredibly strong youngsters's personalities/backstories just so you can fap/schlick to OMFG MAH FUTURE BABBIES and play ~imaginary mommy / daddy~ to fictional characters. It's really disturbing, and it reduces complex characters like the future kids to big-ass cardboard cut-outs.

And please stop claiming that the parents ~had it easy~ compared to them. Because they didn't. Even ~cushy prince~ Chrom didn't.

THANK. YOU. It's okay to prefer one gen over the other, but it's stupid to pretend the parents had it oh so easy. Especially the ones who, I dunno, lost their entire warren to a slaughter or were ditched by unloving parents in the woods and then in an abusive magic school or watched his only friend die and had her parents blame him for it or lost the brothers she admired so deeply or lost both his parents before he was ten and then the sister who was probably the closest thing to a mom he had. Sure, that's living a cushy wonderful life, right.
